1. Photos are sideways on final Preview:
The Mirror Me Software coordinates with the camera's physical rotation. If the photos appear sideways on the preview, that means you need to either change how your camera is mounted or select a preset with a layout that matches your camera's orientation.
Mounting your camera horizontally will take landscape photos:
Mounting the camera sideways will take portrait photos:
Check your DSLRs values and see if the DSLR elements in the photo layout tab are mounted correctly:
2. The camera's mount corresponds to the Photo Layout, but the photos are upside down:
- Open the options menu (Ctrl+O).
- Go to the Photo Layout Tab.
- Rotate your DSLR element manually (You will need to drag the DSLR state to the bottom of the list on the left side in order to scale the element). You can either use the top square, and use the mouse, or change the Angel value of the DSLR photo element:
3. The Raw Preview of the photo is sideways:
- Open the options menu (Ctrl+O).
- Features Tab.
- Preview Last Raw Photo (if you're using V8 and down: Preview and Raw Preview)
- Change the camera's orientation in the Globals tab > Canon (0 for horizontal photo and 270/90 for sideways photo):
*If you're using V9 and down, change the Rotate Raw Preview: 0\90\270 - According to the way your camera is mounted in the booth.
4. The photos are printed in the wrong orientation \ stretched:
If the photo you printed doesn't come out at the right orientation\ seems distorted, changing the print orientation will fix that.
- Open the options menu (Ctrl+O).
- Features Tab.
- Print Copies section.
- Change the Print Orientation from landscape to portrait or the other way around.
